Disclaimer
Last updated: September 22, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to marisolgarzalpcs.com (the "Website") and to every workshop, course, live call, recording, and download offered by Marisol Garza, M.S., LPC-S ("we," "us," or "our") (each a "Program"). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Professional education only
Everything on this Website and in our Programs is for professional education and general information. It is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, clinical supervision, case consultation, or legal or ethics advice. Nothing here creates a therapist and client relationship or a supervisor and supervisee relationship between you and us.
Your clinical judgment and responsibility
Grief and trauma work calls for careful, individualized clinical judgment. The ideas, frameworks, language examples, and tools we teach are offered for your consideration and may not fit every client, setting, or situation. You are responsible for your clinical decisions and for practicing within your education, training, experience, and scope of licensure. Licensing laws, supervision requirements, and ethics codes vary by state and profession. If you are a student or pre-licensed clinician, please follow the guidance of your program, your supervisor, and your licensing board. Consult your own supervisor, a qualified consultant, or an attorney about specific cases or legal and ethical questions.
Supervision and licensure
Although Marisol is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas, taking part in a Program is not clinical supervision and does not count toward supervised hours for licensure in any state.
No continuing education credit
Unless a Program's sales page clearly says otherwise, our Programs are not approved for continuing education credit and no CE certificate is issued.
No guarantees
We cannot promise any particular outcome from taking part in a Program, including changes in your confidence, skills, client outcomes, or career. Testimonials describe individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed results.
If you need personal support
Our Programs discuss grief, loss, and trauma, and the material may bring up your own experiences. Please take care of yourself and step away whenever you need to. If you are working through personal grief and are looking for care rather than training, we encourage you to connect with your own therapist. If you are in crisis or need immediate mental health support in the United States, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

We work to keep the information on this Website and in our Programs accurate and current, but research, standards of care, and regulations change. We make no warranty that all content is complete, current, or free of errors, and we may update it without notice.

The views shared in our Programs are Marisol's own and do not represent any employer, agency, or professional organization she is affiliated with. Links to outside websites and resources are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content.
